What terminal do I get?
You get the PAX Zolon Elys Note M9200. It is SIRIM QAS certified and has a one-year warranty. Repair under warranty is free.
How much does the payment terminal cost?
You pay once for the terminal. There is no monthly rental, monthly fee or minimum spend. Contact us for the terminal price. *Terminal cost may be waived for larger businesses that transact above a certain amount.
What happens if I lose or damage it?
We do not charge a penalty, because you own the terminal. If you lose or damage it, you buy a replacement terminal from us.
What if it stops working?
We send you a temporary replacement unit, then take your terminal to our service centre for servicing. Repairs are free while your terminal is under its one-year warranty. After the warranty, our service centre gives you a quote.
Does the terminal have a warranty?
Yes. All hardware we provide has a one-year warranty.
Can I use it outside my shop?
Yes. It works anywhere in Malaysia with an internet connection or a SIM card in the terminal.
Can home-based businesses use it?
Yes, if your business has an SSM registration and a business bank account in the same name.
Can I use it at events and markets?
Yes. Take it to bazaars, pop-ups and markets with an internet connection or a SIM card.

How is it different from a bank terminal?
You pay once and own our terminal, with no monthly rental, monthly fee or minimum spend, and no penalty if you lose or damage it. It works anywhere in Malaysia with an internet connection or a SIM card, and we work with home-based businesses, while bank terminals are usually locked to a shop address. It also accepts more ways to pay than most bank terminals, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, eWallets and buy now, pay later.
How long until I get paid?
In-person payments are paid out in 1 working day (T+1).
How does the terminal connect?
It connects over Wi-Fi. It also takes a SIM card, but we do not supply one. You buy your own SIM and pay for the data. Many of our merchants do.
Do I need Shiok POS to use the terminal?
No. The payment terminal and Shiok POS are separate products. You can use either one without the other.
Who can apply?
Any business with an SSM registration and a business bank account in the same name. We cannot accept some types of business. See the list above.

How long does approval take?
Approval usually takes 3 to 5 working days after we submit your application. Your payment methods then usually activate within 2 to 3 days, though sometimes it takes longer.
Is it secure?
The terminal is SIRIM QAS certified. Your payments are processed through Fiuu, formerly Razer Merchant Services, which publishes its security certifications on its website (opens in a new tab): PCI DSS Service Provider Level 1 and ISO 27001:2022.
